Refund and Returns Policy

At dquills.com, we take great pride in the quality of our handcrafted paper quilling art. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, please review our return and refund policies below.

1. Return Window

We offer a 14-day return policy. You have 14 days after receiving your physical item to request a return. If 14 days have passed since your delivery date, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in its original packaging to ensure it is protected during transit back to us.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email).

3. Non-Returnable Items

Because of the nature of our products, certain items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or Personalized Art: Any quilling pieces that were custom-made, personalized, or commissioned specifically for you cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount (unless otherwise stated).

4. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at service@dquills.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item received was damaged, defective, or incorrect. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returning valuable handcrafted items, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment (such as the credit card used via our payment gateway) within 5 to 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

We carefully package our delicate paper quilling art to prevent damage. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at service@dquills.com with clear photos of the item and the packaging. We will evaluate the issue and make it right by offering a replacement or a full refund, and we will cover the return shipping costs in these instances.
